Close in, Seneca Lodge. Nicer but further away, anything name-brand in Corning.

    Pricing depends on the season.

    Headed there in three weeks.

    lots of places to stay.

    embassay suites in elmira
sceneca lodge right down the hill from the track

my favorite is http://www.thepearlofsenecalake.com/ - its a 20 minute ride up the lake but well worth it. peter and mary are wonderful and the food is excellent.

Stayed at the Radisson in Corning many times for WG events. It's about 20 min. from the track, plenty of parking, even for trailers, and you can walk to several really good restaurants right there in town in the evening. There is also a new hotel in the town of Watkins Glen, but I heard it is extremely expensive. Radisson was always pretty reasonable. There are a couple of less expensive places in Corning as well.
