Our long-deceased Bussian Blue would catch live flies with his paws and eat them. I saw him take down five or six in a row several times, and he'd eat huge cockroaches whole (this was in our bug-infested newlywed quarters) Current batch of cats is pretty spoiled. They just wait for their food, but on occasion do eat small geckos, or rather, chew them dry, and spit out what's left.
