Interesting to know who has owned their 308gt4 the longest. I am at 21 yrs and counting, I know of one person longer than me in the UK. I believe Patrick Dixon is at 30 yrs + and counting, happy to take 2nd place in the UK! What about others??
My dad bought Bambina in 1976, second owner of our '75. I assumed full care about five years ago. So combined we are coming up on 40. Though I've been taking care of her since I was a kid.
Yes, I bought mine on the 9 March 1985 (I was the 4th owner). I should have sold and bought it back many times in between ...
What's first prize, can anyone beat this? I bought my 1974 (09112) in May 1975 brand new off the showroom floor. Recently completed ground up reco over 10 years. We have done 213,000 kms together. I still love this car. Waz.

Well done Waz, your "The Godfather!" of the head of the family, 41 yrs! Congrats and a fine looking car.
Apparently in this group I am still on the honeymoon at 16 years. I wonder why GT4 owners are holding on to their cars so long especially compared to other Ferrari models. Purchase them to actually drive (maybe even drive often)? Don't approach ownership as an "investment" with a flip after a year or two? Can't afford to upgrade? Simplicity and relatively low cost to maintain? More DIY oriented? Dare to be different? See through the hype and realize that the GT4 is a great car? Any other ideas?
