this is the best one I've seen with him at the wheel.

I read a review in Autoweek I believe it was 5 months back or so - he took a reporter/journalist out on a track in a 360CS. The first lap he got the car completely airborne. That was the picture in the article...it's a great picture. I'll see if I still have it and post it up.

The car landed and put a big crack in the windshield apparently. But hey, if MS is driving..it's all good

 

I believe that was during Road America(or something like that?)...and he was driving a 360 challenge car maybe?

 

It was during the Race of Champions last year. He was driving a Challenge race car. They ended up putting chicanes to stop making the 360s from flying!

I don't think so. I remember reading something about this jump about 3 or 4 months ago in a mag, and he kinda wrecked something when the car hit the ground.

where they gather the best drivers in each driving sport (WRC, F1, neckcar, CART, etc...) and put them all together against themselves in the same car, same track, to find who the best driver really is. it was on speed channel a couple months ago

i think after schumi jumped like that, they altered the overcrossing so it would be more difficult/impossible for the drivers to jump like that

The first airborne pic took the 360 from the last shot you just posted and pasted it over an image with ppl in the grandstands to make it look like a higher jump, it is Photoshopped. The second image, without people in the grandstands is real.

 

Here's a picture I took of Schumacher during the 550 Maranello presentation at the Nürburgring in 1996. Fisichella, Irvine and Lauda were there too demonstrating the then new Maranello.

Coil over suspensions usually do not droop that much due to the short dampers. As you can see on the pic.
