So who hates Friends as much as I do? The script has been redone with slight changes over and over and over again. Finally it ends right? Wrong now those of us who hate this show have to live with it being rerun more than anyother show there is. Did I mention the poor acting and poor script writing?

All I keep hearing today is about that damn show. It's a little disturbing how people get so far into it, like a part of their life just came to a close. I have to wonder how many of them will mention their "Friends withdrawl syndrome" to their shrinks :) lol

Neither have I. I think it is mostly geared to female viewers.

Of course, I don't watch other sit-coms either except an occasional Sopranos. I only watch news and Premiership Soccer.

I used to watch Seinfeld back in the day, then the horrible last episode aired, and I threw my TV out of my window. Since that day, no TV (yup I am the one who voted no TV).

Have not seen a friends episode, but online I heard the music (is that what its called?) that the show starts with. I just liked the part where the song goes "Life is always stuck in second gear."

My musical taste is horrible, as I have attested on some other threads. I don't own any CD's but I always listen to the radio (winamp). I listen to JLo/Santana/Justin Timberlake or whatever else is playing.

So take it for what it's worth. :)

I rank Friends right up there with the old Barney Miller show. I've never watched a single episode of either one. The whole concept of Friends is a crock of baloney. A bunch of hot babes hanging out every day with a bunch of ho-hum guys. Newsflash: It ain't gonna happen. In real life, every one of those girls will be "hanging out" with some six figure income guy for about a year or so before they either marry the guy, or find a richer guy. They're not going to be hanging out with a bunch of dofusses (dofi?) year after year in some two bit apartment with a bunch of chowderheads who, in real life, would be sitting home by themselves eating a TV dinner (El Charrito?) and watching reruns of Magnum PI. (ouch, that hurt!)

I think they dropped Friends about 8 years ago didn't they?

There is one show that is even a bigger P*ssy show than Friends, and that was "Mad About You". I like shows that fool women into thinking what life is really like. Its kind of funny.

Sorry to cut this short but Magnum P.I. is coming on (now we are talking about what a man's life is really all about :) )

two words, Jennifer Aniston. nuff said, well for me anyway. she's hot. sure it shouldn't be the reason to watch a show, and normally it isn't, but i guess she's reason enough. btw, before i get flamed for this, i'm not a dedicated watcher. it's just something to watch after the simpsons.

I tried to watch it a few years ago. Shortly thereafter, I decided to Kill my TV - in fact, I had a small "Kill your TV" Bumpersticker. Alarmngly, the guys who were most likely to ask where they could get the sticker were TV News Cameramen. Six, to be exact.

I didn't watch TV for 3 years... like LaFun is doing now (post-Seinfeld), Coincidence? I think not. Did miss Letterman during that stretch, though. Usually watch Leno these days, but not tonight. Conan rules 'em all.

My gal (who is the reason I got a few TV's again) is like me, absolutely loathes even the mention of this show. In fact, before I logged in tonight, she said, "You know, that call was cold." *chuckles* The call she was referring to is a cell call I made at @ 7:15... to her "Be sure and watch Friends tonight on NBC!" She didn't. Praise be!
