    Hey guys,

I have used the search button and haven't been able to find the answers that i was looking for in regards to the sound of this exhaust. I have found many threads in regards to the lack of customer service at stebro but not much on the sound. I am not really concerned with the customer service at Stebro because I am purchasing this exhaust from a fellow f chatter.

For those of you who have heard the system how does it sound tone wise as well as loudness?

    Does it drone?

Is it too raspy at the lower rpms?

Also, just so you know i will be using the stock cats with the car

I am okay with loud so as long as its not raspy... also, I am trying to get that great f1 sound. I know people like the Cappys etc... for that...

Regardless of customer service unless they stepped up there game, the quality was not the best either...Several guys have complained of poor workmanship---I had a Stebro on my 328 and had to have several spots rewelded due to poor welding

I have a Stebro on my 348SS. Sounds fantastic. Does not drone like the Tubi. ;) I really like the baffle inserts, really tones down the exhaust.

I have a tubi, hyper flow cats and stebro headers. I had the hypers and tubi before the Stebro headers were installed this pass winter. So I can say I've heard it both ways. It is simply incredible sounding. Guys that I run w/ in my region jockey to run behind me so they can hear it scream. Ironically, it sounds the most insane at 4000-5000 rpms and then unleashes from 6k north. I can tell a huge difference when the STebro went on. It simply takes it to a whole nutha level. I follow lots of threads of what exhaust to put on and yep it perks up the car no doubt alternate cats help but like I said - other Ferrari guys and Lambo guys say hands down the set up I have is an insane F1 sound and I strongly believe that is a tribute to the installation of the Stebro headers. I believe it is due to the guage of steel and the diameter variation from that of stock factory headers. Next run I take w/ my buddies I'll pack the video so all can see what the fuss is all about. Regarding service specfically through Stebro - I can't speak to that as I bought them through my mechanic upon his recommendation.

The Stebro system sounds fantastic with the stock cats. The inserts allow you to tune the exhaust note to your taste. I had no quality or fit issues with mine. My wife did not care for the more aggressive exhaust note. Hate to part with it!
The Stebro website offers a video/ sound clip of a 355 with Stebro on a track.

Had a Stebro exhaust system on the old Dino and it sounded amazing. It did have a raspy sound on low end and sounded even better when you let off the throttle between gears on the low end. It screamed Ferrari and accentuated it's note. Never had any fitment or bad welds present themselves.:D
