My '01 360 Spider's top has been getting a bit ratty. The car is 10 years old and has 65k miles on it, 4 years and 50k miles of those are mine, and prior owners apparently didn't care for the top well. Not only have there been creases since I got it but there's a fairly bad snag from where there must've been a mechanical issue at some point in time.

I just saw an ad from CabrioWorld in the new FCA NewsBulletin advertising 360 tops for $1890, using "original Sonnendecke material". Elsewhere I see GAHH tops using Sonnendecke material for $2750.

I had a quote locally for $4200 installed a year or so ago, I think using a GAHH top.

Anyway, has anyone here gone thru this? What did you choose and how did it turn out?

If you have a tan top, how does the color match?

    Thanks in advance.

though we never replaced a top on a 360/430, we have replaced 100's of tops on bmw's, mercedes, audi's, jaguars and aston martins.

my upholstery guy charges anywhere from $350 to $1,000 maximum ** for the aston martin which was a complex job.

I cant see labor costing more than a grand.
