It's a lamp or light turned backwards. EDIT: backwards for a track day to protect the lens from stone chips, etc. frontwards in use at night on a road course.. or these days in a concours.
Last summer I saw two Wang cars in the basement of a repair shop in Missoula. I am assuming Brandon's cars.
Mr. Wang kept all his Maseratis! This is Tipo 61, Chassis #2452 (ex-Joe Lubin. It was the 1st Birdcage in the USA and one of the most successful).
He had the Testa Rossa, one of his GTOs and a few of his other cars at Le Belle Macchine: Pocono a couple of year's ago for the Gentlemen's Historic Challenge race. I used to see Tony and Lulu pretty regularly in the 90's racing at VSCCA events in the Northeast. Very nice people to talk to. Back in 1998 I was looking for a 5 speed 400i and I would take the opportunity when I was traveling around the country to look at any that were for sale. One trip took me to Intrepid Motors, owned by Bert Skidmore, in Reno, Nevada. Intrepid kept and maintained at least one of Tony's cars, a 250TR, for West Coast racing activities, while he had another 250TR on the East Coast.
I think you are mixing this up. Anthony Wang has just one TR: 0722 TR. But when 0722 TR was on the West Coast for events such as Monterey/Laguna Seca it was prepared by Skidmore/Intrepid who also prepared the Lou Sellyei sister 250 TR 0756 TR. Marcel Massini
So to sum up, Anthony Wang sold his Ferraris and kept his Maseratis and Brandon Wang still has most of his Ferraris? I havent seen him this year at the Tour Auto.
AGAIN: Anthony W. Wang and Brandon Wang have zero relation, except for collecting Ferraris. Anthony W. Wang has sold over a dozen Ferraris in the past seven years. He kept a few and also some Maseratis. Brandon Wang hasn't sold his Ferraris. Marcel Massini
I believe this is Tony's TR - I saw it in San Francisco for the California Mille. Image Unavailable, Please Login
