4713GT?

I must be mistaken in my recollection of what Bert told me back in 1998, so thank you for clearing that up.
This car was seen during the Rally Nippon, which took place on October 21to 24 between Kyoto and Tokyo. Beautiful car, nice owner, I had a great time!
Worth noting that 2383GT was also present, saw pictures from mate who attended. And yes, I already learned from this thread that the owners are not related.
It was present indeed. Other Ferrari I saw were a brown 365GT2+2, a red California LWB, a Japan based yellow 275GTB/4, and a silver 365GTC. I know some Dinos were present too, but I had to leave before they arrived. I didn't have a choice as I took a once in a lifetime opportunity to get a short ride in 10453! ;-)
The yellow 275 GTB/4 is an alloy car and might be #09609 of Tom Price, appears to use a California dealer license plate. Marcel Massini
That spider is sweet especially in red but I like the Fly Yellow 365 GTB/4 coupe! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login nice images from the link Furanku
I have heard 4713 called by a number of different titles.. When I worked on it, the owner referred to it as a 250 GTO. Others called it a 250 LMB. Some referred to it as a 330 LMB - completely wrong. Here's some trivia: There is an interesting little steel rod welded to left side of the gas pedal. Anyone know what it's for? And, who was it set up for?
reversing a stuck open throttle... when return spring fails to close throttle not unusual with drivers that have had their fill of stuck open throttles
Hah! Having that problem right now with my 328. Idles at around 2000 RPM. I'll squirt some more lube on the cable before heading over to Woodley Park Sunday.
Nope. According to the mechanic who installed the rod (when NART campaigned the car), Masten Gregory requested it to facilitate "heel-toe".
Isn't there a large screw under the pipe to the plenum that adjusts the idle? No harm in turning this screw 90 degrees or so and seeing what happens. I would think that the throttle would be sticky if it needed to be lubricated.
