Dinner? When, where? I'm coming back from LA on Friday, so I may be able to make it. Can someone pick me up at the Palo Alto Airport if I can make it? Darth, you need a ride from LA? Art
Makes it easy for the visiting brass. And they can also make the 430 Spider intro at FoSF tonight. Gary
As to FOSV my understanding was that it was by invitation only. I was invited in early March by a personal phone call from Charley Miles, but a written invitation was never forth coming. Anyone know the skinny on this? I also heard that FOLV was owned by Steve Wynn of Belagio, Mirage, etc, fame! I guess there's a "silver" lining to all of this!!!
Cal: how many in your party? I made reservations Greg: written deal came to basically whomever wanted one. I bet they're expecting over 1k people in a space designed for 10 --Dan
I did finally spot the open invitation to FCA members to come down to the SV dealership, but I cant recall if this was for a Friday or Saturday function . . . . . . not that a lack of an invitation would stop be from crashing the party anyways, but I'm unfortunately busy Friday eve.
I will be there on the invite extended to club members in the fca pacific newsletter. add one + wife to the dinner. I also called FoBH before I spotted the club invite, but never got anytrhing in the mail so it is "no autocross for me". Work committments would not have allowed it, anyway. Should be fun !
The goose, I think my name is still on one of the tables...good times. I like antonios nuthouse better.
I should be able to make it to the open house on the FCA general invite to members. My 3yr old kid is having his tonsils out tomorrow morning so don't want to make any promises in case I need to be around. Dan, with that I don't know about dinner. This might be an obvious question, but with a LOT of people expected to attend anyone bringing their F-car to what might be a difficult parking situation in this part of edgy RWC.....except for Dan.. I thought about driving Art's sister car if the weather holds.
Well, you guys have my cell - but try to let me know with some advance about dinner so I can tell the guys how many we have. Ben - starts at 6.30, we'll prolly bail out by 8.30. As for parking - I'm not worried. I mean, just park at the hanky panky and hope no one takes a picture to show your wife! --Dan
Address is: 2750 El Camino Real, Redwood City, CA Cross street is Oakwood on Atherton line. Don't know which exit off 101 is closest, but getting off 101 at RW City anywhere near Atherton gow West to El Camino Real and turn either left or right depending on the street numbers will get you there. What's interesting is that I find no formal corporate filings with Secretary of State for them with the name of FMOSV! Very strange they would open w/o that! I do find FOSF, however.
Could be a dba for Big Daddy Pimp Dealership, LLC. I'd say closest from 101 is whipple (and then go left / south on el cam) ? --Dan
