Just curious if anybody from here will be going to the MotoGP races this year. I have been every year since GP races finally came back to the US, and hang out in turn 3 stands.

If so, where are you staying? We have been staying at a place just over the mountains from LS to the east....only about a 15 minute drive and it is a 5 bedroom rental we stay at every year with a bunch of Ducati folks, nested on the side of a hill overlooking a nice canyon.

Might be fun to get together for drinks/dinner one night.

    Wot say?

Sounds like fun! I'll be up there with some college buddies. Their parents live in Salinas less than 10 minutes away form the front gate at LS. 3 of us will be riding 2 up and the 4th will be solo. GSXR 600, GSXR 750, CBR 600RR & a Triumph 675. If my fiancee wasnt going I'd be riding there. Due to the weather and expected temps of 100-106 I'll be putting the bike in the truck for the 4.5 hour drive north. I cant wait until I get the sport touring bike thats more comfortable for longer distances (hayabusa).

Have fun at MotoGP! Also dont miss out on the bike night at cannery row on Friday.

I will be there. Working the Paddock again. Always an awesome experience. I stay at the track in the fenced area just inside to the right in the paddock (East side) just behind Turn 10 where the Concessions building is located. I will be heading down early Thursday.

If I could get away in the evening I would go to Cannery Row, but always to busy to do so.

After years of trying, I finally was able to upgrade my 6 tickets to the Premium Pit Suites above the garages. We are looking forward to three days of heckling riders below us!

Anyone able to land any better parking for exotics than the giant dirt hill? (Lot 2)

This event is a pain as far as parking goes. I can't even park my car in the paddock where I'm staying, And I work there.

I will be working the gate between the Pit row Garage/Suites and the Podium Garage.
