    It was just the drive back and forth would be more convenient to stay closer.

    It's like staying in Brea to attend a weekend function in Newport. It is best to arrive at the events early and leave early...or very late.

    Booked my hotel reservations and plane tickets last weekend. As far as available hotel rooms they are filling up fast - I ended up at a hotel on Dunes Rd in Marina. I have always stayed in Marina - it's easy access to the Concourso, Laguna Seca and Carmel/Monterey. I tried to book the Holiday Inn Express on Reservation Rd (really convinent) that I stayed at last year but it was already booked up - those Maserati people who were there last year must have booked the whole place already.
