    Friends,

I heard the Miami Beach Concours was an amazing event last year, so I am planning to make the trip to Miami for the event this year! (I am located in Naples)

The event is going to be held on: March 19-20th, 2016

    Miami Beach Concours | March 19-20th, 2016

They are expecting some very significant vehicles and celebrity guests from the automotive world to be in attendance. I am really looking forward to it!

"A celebration of the worlds greatest post-war sports, exotic and supercars from around the world. Celebrity guest judges, French judging, F1 racing simulator competition and luxury brands featuring the latest products and services."

If anyone else is planning on attending, I would love to meet up or get a group of enthusiasts together to drive over!

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the second annual Miami Beach Concours!

The event is growing and this year, celebrity judges will include none other than Valentino
Balboni, Greg Tracy, and Emerson Fittipaldi along with Pininfarina CEO Paolo Pininfarina
whom will be returning to present the Best of Show trophy.

This year’s lineup includes some of the world’s finest collections. Notable vehicles on display
    include a $19M Ferrari 250 California, a $3M Lamborghini Miura SV and a $6M 1967 Ford
    Shelby GT500 Convertible.

All this, at the height of the Spring Break season at the venue we feel is the very best in
Florida with a relaxed SoBe vibe and plenty of space between the cars so they may be enjoyed
    from every possible angle.

John reports that the entry is above 100 outstanding cars registered (with a few more last
moment registrations coming in) for the second annual Miami Beach Concours.

And, there are another 75 or so exotics which will be in their respective corrals.

Just spoke with John and the bigger question is, who won't be at the Miami Beach Concours?!

Seriously, the reaction has been simply overwhelming and we're still registering some really
    fantastic cars.

The 2016 MBC is not to be missed!

How bad is the traffic and parking?

If I survive Sebring I'd love to make it this year. Unless of course if I have to sit in Miami traffic for hours. I'm assuming it isn't bad since it's a Sunday morning.

Not bad if you get there early. Last year was hot as hell so dress accordingly.

From the last few times I've been out on SoBe, the construction on Alton Road is finished
at long last. Also, the Venetian Causeway has also been re-opened so all routes leading to the
venue are open, options for getting onto and off of SoBe just got a whole lot easier.

Good advise on arriving early which could be said about just about any event of this
type. Beat the traffic and plan to be there at noon when the gate opens.

One of the luxuries of having such a broad canvas to display the cars at the Miami Beach
Golf Club is there is plenty of space between the cars so they may really be appreciated. This
will continue as there were so many positive comments about this last year.

The VIP is going to be outstanding yet again with the F-1 simulator and Slot Mods track
on display. Slot Mods USA owner David Beattie will be on hand to demonstrate his incredible
work of art courtesy of Miami's Investment Autohaus.

Last year, there was a late arriving crowd as word was being sent out and people were still
coming in even as the event was ending and cars were leaving.

First images from the Miami Beach Concours include Speedy checking out John Temerian, Jr's
latest acquisition, the Jaguar XJ220 on the 18th fairway of the Miami Beach Golf Club Saturday
    afternoon.

The VIP cocktail reception at the club Saturday evening was well attended with participants,
    guests and sponsors.

    Hi Paulie:

Yes, it was difficult to find an enclosed trailer since most of them were moving westward from
Amelia Island and the rest of them were at Sebring of course.

We found a guy on Friday afternoon just as I was leaving Sebring to come back to Miami. The
transport company went above and beyond the call of duty as they had to put up with us
    Saturday and Sunday.

We are sorry that we didn't receive a visit from the mysterious visitor from Jupiter but understand
its difficult to get away. We missed you buddy!

Anyway, here are some of the images of the Slots Mods track on display in the incredible
VIP at the Miami Beach Concours yesterday.
