A) I was almost ripped off by one of these Canadian scam artists, and I cannot stand a thief. Even though this guy didn't get me, I still take the heat when I see something like this. I could've afforded to get beat, but I imagine many of the people he's ****ed cannot afford the loss- all so he can play Mr. Bigshot. B) when you, or one of the other deranged cyclists, address all my questions in post 147 of the cycling thread, I'll go back to it. Best Mike

This guy is still out? Can't the CRA investigate? Who knows how much this louse owes the Canadian Government (let alone all of the investors he scammed)? What drives me nuts is that scam artists like this are ignored by our Canadian authorities while others like my autistic Brother-In-Law gets audited twice for the second year in a row! We have all of his documents and receipts all sent off but how nuts is it that the CRA wastes their time stressing out and auditing a citizen with a disability who lives off less than $20000 a year and someone like Reza is left to his own devices and seems to have gotten away with scamming his investors and the government for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Where is the justice?

This whole thread is worth the read. The CRA has no jurisdiction. The Canadian Anti Fraud Center (CAFC) is impotent. There was a complaint lodged at the Forex Peace Army (FPM) website, in which Reza's firs got voted 68-0 as guilty, but to no real outcome. Reza's registered in New Zealand (I think). So a combination of him protecting himself and the Canadians not taking such fraud seriously leaves him untouched. Matt

Sadly the media wont care. Its not exciting enough to warrant coverage. Reza found a good niche to rip off. The people losing money are not loosing huge amounts, nor are they famous, mostly young kids and often in other countries. Plus they're losing it in forex trading. Most of the population wont understand it, and therefor the media stories wont attract eyeballs. Until there are plenty of sob stories of little old ladies whose whole portfolio was squandered, it wont make coverage, nor will the authorities care too much. Its possible that a local newspaper gives it coverage, then maybe get picked up by a major Toronto paper to dig deeper. Best case for this guy is someone hops on a plane, and gives him a good beatdown I would guess thats why he keeps showing his guns off. He's afraid of that happening.
