Who is Sasha Selipanov?

I know he's a German car designer but what has he done in the past that qualifies him as someone we would want to hire to redesign our Ferraris? Is he intending to produce cars like his 612GTO (unveiled in June but I just ran across it on the net)

I personally like the GTO air intake nostrils andthe nose, front air intake and front spoiler but think the taillights are not Ferrari-like and the rear fenders are taking on a Camaro look.

The story I found says it borrows styling elements from the 458 Italia, 250 GTO, Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, and Aston Martin One-77.
