Top Gear is funny and all, and that's mainly why I still watch it on BBC, but really, Jeremy Clarkson can't drive all that well. They also talk/fool around too much on the show, which reduces the real motoring time on the show. As opposed to 5th gear, where Tiff Needle is an excellent driver, but really isn't that funny. He doesn't keep gabbing like Clarkson, he just drives. Pity I don't get to see 5th gear on a regular basis. So, if you could take your pick between a guy who can joke but can't really drive (Clarkson) and a guy who can't joke but can drive the wheels off any car (Tiff), who would you go for ? I'd take Tiff anyday, simply because I'm watching it for the cars, and not the comedy.
