So this is the second for sale post that ive had now, but whatever this caught my eye, because 1 its gorgeous (say what you like but it is amazing) and 2 the price tag... 1.5 million, granted thats asking price, but still are we back in those days? Maybe it really is the peak of the exotic market like some have been saying and owners are trying to squeeze out as much value as possible from their cars they dont want to hold onto? Anyways interesting topic... thoughts?

and another kicker, pretty sure that the enzo is photoshopped into the mountain background

I've never been fan on yellow super Ferraris. Looks much meaner IMHO in black and that's the color I prefer for a car of this league which is supposed to spread fear and mystique to admirers and drivers. 1,5 could get you a whole lot of cars in a mighty garage collection...

I believe that price is even a little on the high side for the more desired black color enzo with extremely low miles.

Keep in mind that 1.5M$ is just 1M euros nowadays.

Is that a legit sale? I don't know why they would photoshop the car but w/e works for them.

They are very legit. Located 1 mile from my house on Pico in West LA. I can go by and look at it if anybody wants me to. I go in there from time to time. They have some nice cars in stock. I have not bought anything from them but was interested in a 997 GT3 that they had. They also carry stuff on consignment from what I have been told.

Didn't Napolis say he had a friend with an extremely low mileage black Enzo--Going for something around 2 songs?

Napolis, the almighty that somehow sees every post--care to chime in? :)

    Best,

+1. A whole, whole lot of cars. And money left over to build the garage.

And no, I don't care much for yellow.

And yes, that is a horrible photoshop. Would much rather see the car parked in front of the nice house that it probably resides at.

That was an original Black car with very low miles. Asking was about 1.8 million US. I heard it sold but don't know at what price. One thing to keep in mind is that rare examples are often above the market. I think the market for a good Enzo is 1-1.5 depending on mileage and color.

I'm sure searching for Napolis helps to guide which threads he reads first. ;)

I love yellow Enzo's. I think it's symbolic of how masculine this car is. Kind of a "I can even pull off YELLOW" type of deal. That is about 50% more than I would expect to see an Enzo go for. Weren't they just in the 850K range this past summer? Someone really needs an Enzo during the winter season? Strange how those coordinate.

I think any Ferrari looks best in Giallo Modena. Giallo Modena is the best of both worlds- it looks great on every Ferrari, and it's somewhat unique. Rosso Barchetta is another great unique Ferrari color that looks good on every Ferrari, but is more "stealthy" than Giallo Modena. I would love to see a Rosso Barachetta Enzo, but if I were the one buying the Enzo, I'd still take mine in Giallo Modena.

Rosso Corsa is too common for my tastes. Granted, it is Ferrari's signature color, but you go to a car show or to a race, with a Rosso Corsa Ferrari, and you park it next to the other 18 cars just like yours. Nero is also too common for my tastes, plus it's just black which is boring. Sorry, I don't find black particularly "stealthy." It's a Ferrari, and no Ferrari no matter what color is stealthy. (Unless of course it's a 400i, and then no one really cares anyways.) Grigio (and all it's sub-forms) is.... what else can I say... gray. Grigio takes the whole yawn factor to a whole new level. I've never understood why anyone would buy a gray sports car. By the way, silver (Argento) is just a code-word for gray which is why I have never understood why both Mercedes and Porsche's "signature" colors are gray. It must be a German thing. There are a few colors that a Ferrari should NEVER be painted- Verde (green) and Bianco (white.) The only sports cars that look good in green are Lotus' and Jaguars. (Odd, it must be a British thing.) And, white, please, 1984 called, it wants it's color back along with it's Member's Only jacket. Granted, these are my opinions, and I'm entitled to them. So if you are reading this and you own a Bianco Ferrari 400i and are driving it wearing a Member's Only jacket, and you're perfectly happy with what you have, congratulations, you are in a very exclusive club.
