    Hi Jonathon
These wheels look like Compomotive split rims, i think the model is called the T.S. To see a nice pic of these look at Dave Z's 308 GTS on any of the forums. I believe they do 17" and 18" 3 piece rims.

    Best regards

    Charles

    Johnny,

Hope you have been enjoying the car. Keep looking, a set will turn up just as you have given up hope, you know how lucky you Irish are. Looking around for a 3.4 Mondial having bought a Z3M on on the spur of the moment. Did you find the cig lighter?
    Excuse the thread hi-jack.

    Regards Trevor.

Hi Trev hows the foot? I was waiting til i got the car finished before i contacted you.As you have seen i am having a bit of bother with these alloys. Thanks for the advise on the Rev counter, think Rickie and i will give that a go.I spoke to our lorry mechanic he seemed to think speedy cables could only adjust it to a couple of 100th rather than 1000th. I found the cigarette lighter, it fell down from the back of the ashtray, i only found it whilst removing the center console. It had Rickie sweating for a week or two. Ha Ha Ha! We also got the washer motor working, we took the whole bottle out and conected it straight to another battery, thanks again for the advise! Oh one other thing if you dont mind, could you possibly send me an original copy of the car video which you have posted on U tube?.. Good luck with your new wheels Johnny.....

I don't think they are Compomotive wheels. I think they were manufactured by a company in Italy called SPEEDLINE. They were three piece wheels. I don't think the company still exists.

That is odd. When I bought my Compomotives, they said that they can make them for any Ferrari. Mine being an 89 328, it has different offsets, but was no problem. See profile pic.

First pic is a Speedline Mistral 3-piece and yes, they're already discontinued. Second pic is prolly from Image or some one-off German manufacturer. Best bet is Compomotive's TS series and you can specify the width and offsets. If you're really set on the Mistrals, try contacting Jasmine Motorsports/Wheels or specialized aftermarket wheels shops.. When I was in Blighty years ago, I remember that they carry some NOS wheels from various manufacturers.

There was a recent Fchat Mondial t owner in the States with them Mistral 3piece that came with the car.

I fired him off an email and he replyed saying he sold them only a week ago for $600 Bummer! tried a compomotive dealer and he said the same as compomotive, apparently they wont fit a mondial?????? Thats great Neil! First of all, it looks really well. Would like to ask you are they 18",whats the offset, pcd? What did they come off. How does the car handle compared to originals. Do you have any rubbing! Where did you get them???

Well my Mot tester thinks she is in good condition, QV London also said the same.

They are 18in three piece split rims and came off a Testarossa.

They were as new with new 265 rear tyres on the 10in rims and new 225 on the front 8in rims.

They came up on Ebay and I got them for £1000.

There is no rubbing at all, I did have to get longer wheel bolts though, proper one piece cut ones, apparently there is a difference, the bolts were a £100.

As for driving they are fine, I am not a racer so not sure really how much better they perform handling wise but, they look a lot better.

Offset and Pcd not sure would have to look on the rims.

You got yourself a bargan esp being in good condition! I spoke to Mike today out of QV London. He had a set of split rims himself, no one would refurb them. He had to take them apart himself and get them painted and polished, which wasnt cheap. Also he replaced the nuts and bolts At 200 quid! Might go to Image after all

Hi Neil do you think 9" on the front and 10" on the back would work. ie how far do your 8" on the front come out to the wing?
