Proving its possible to truly make the FF truly everyday car - why not make a trip to the local lumber yard? Spotted in Arlington, VA - now who's going to stand up and take credit for this? Photo by thirdecho on Flickr. High resolution version available here. >8^) ER Image Unavailable, Please Login
Found two more angles in his Flickr account. High res here & here. >8^) ER Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
what an idiot , how many laws is he breaking .....he should have tied something to the wood , a flag or something ...if someone hit him , he could lose a fortune
That's actually a very good point - tan wood on a metallic beige car is hardly distinctive, especially with today's inattentive drivers. >8^) ER
OK, what is his secret? There is an electronic over-ride preventing the car from going into gear with a hatch open. I guess he jammed the latch somehow to make the car think the hatch was closed. Good on him for using a car as a car.
I suspect he leases the car and does not care about scratches to hatch and back bumper. Or maybe its Home Depot's new rental vehicle for 19.99 an hour.
Lowe's and HD hand em out for free at the exits...for all you FF owners that may wish to duplicate this feat... I hope he had the front of the lumber wrapped in a rag or something. Can tear up your dash...
