Pascal needs one, he will take it without the hose.

I can make the footrest, albeit no rubber hose at hand, yet possibly available from the usual industrial supply store.

The question is: anybody else need one? If we will make one or more, it would be one production run. I have mine, as fortunately it was not lost alongside the bevy of missing parts.

I do not foresee much more, than on one hand. Anyhow, let's see.

    Regards, Alberto

Thank you to all that have expressed interest in the footrest.

I have to enquire about the materials, and evaluate the manufacturing process.
I also have to enquire about the chroming. I also ignore its cost and/or willingness
locally, to perform the chroming as the country I live in, is another planet :)...

If I have enough time, I will try to have an answer by next week.

    Regards, Alberto

Alberto- i have been thinking of another project for your talented guys. It is not Dino stuff (its the euro style chrome bumpers for a Maserati Merak) so i wont change the thread. Maybe I can catch up with you when you are in RI to discuss in the next few weeks. Thanks

Never have seen one for sale, yet evidently there are people missing them, so they must be in some trash pile...
When I saw mine in a box, I did not know what it was for, yet fortunately it was there.

Anyone has an idea what the assembly procedure was?
The rubber hose was heated in boiling water and then slipped over?
    Got me...

    Alberto,
Were you able to rechrome the footrest while leaving the rubber on?

I assume that the rubber tubing was able to slip on when new, using lubricant of some sort.

Yes, they sliced about an 1/8"at the ends. Came out very well. The rubber is fused to the tube after all these years. I concur that they must have lubed it on, or...
It still is a very awkward angle.
