Ours is looking unlikely Andreas. I was betting Kimi would score more points than Fernando if he went to McLaren. At this point I think Jensen will be there instead
Nah, Button is fix with Brawn. I still think there is a good chance for Kimi ending up at McLaren. But even if he does, I will win. Was that you I was betting about Hambone? I didn't think so, but can't remember.
I believe that in F1 anything is possible Disclaimer: These results are not replicable in the real world.
Things that go "bump" in the night? I don't believe in ghosts. (And isn't this just the Ghost of Eagle Past?) "Gurney had a team in the '60s." "How hard can it be?". (In your best top gear imitation.)
Probably an insult to Dan. I've met him once personally and he didn't strike me as some wheeler/dealer like PW.
USF1 has been playing the "Eagle" retro card since day one. Why would the web site for a brand new team have a whole section for "legacy"? Like the t-bird, the Mini, the Fiat 500, and the Alfa 8C, they're playing the "remember when we were good" game. And, yep, it's pretty much an insult to all past US participants in F1.
I would have to research deeper to actually state this as fact but, no 'american"team from Cunningham on has been 'All-American'. Certainly AAR and Parnelli had a number of Brits working for them in the various departments. Shadow and others were merely owned by americans, Don Nichols played the "US" card a little but not to the extent of PeeWee and Anderson. So much of the rhetoric from Windsor and Anderson has been either heard before and/or proven to be wrong that suggests to many that maybe Simon Gillette should be involved somewhere! As for the "purpose built facility, housing the fan interactive areas", how's that work when the cars and team will be in Spain? As for Anderson's being designer of and partners in the Windshear tunnel? Is not and never was from what I read elsewhere.
