    Hello Ladies, Gentlemen,

I'm working on a deal for a 360, and live in the Dallas area. This is not my first Italian, but it is my first F-Car.

Obviously, there are a number of ownership-concerns with the 360 (belts, clutch, F1 trans, etc.) so I'm scouting the "right" 360. This is a bit of a risky dance I'm considering, but I feel I should give it a go, if all the variables line up. I drive very little, so that alone seems to position me as a candidate 360 owner, given my love and interest in the car.

I'm not so sure that it even makes sense (due to cost) to consider purchasing a 3rd party warranty for such a car, but rather take on issues should they arise a-la-carte.

One major concern is building a relationship with the "correct" mechanic (not necessarily garage) in DFW. With out this component, I don't feel I can bring the car home.

Can any of you local DFW 360 owners comment on your service-person, or make a recommendation in that regard?

It seems (to me anyway) that low-miles 360's must be near rock-bottom on depreciation, and given that the car was designed for use and not just gawking at, this is a dream of mine that I hope to execute on.

Oh one last thing, any particular years of 360's I should avoid / known issues on given years?

All the best, perhaps someone in the Turtle Creek area / Uptown area posts on here, and we can grab a coffee/chat some time?

    Cheers,

    --Scott

I have used both of these and would recommend them:

    1. Boardwalk Ferrari in plano - can be pricey based on what you get done seeing that they are a dealer. But they have quoted me below Norwoods at times.

    2. Norwood Auto Italia in Addison - Probably the best non-dealer service in ferrairs in dallas.
But I have had issues with turn-around, since the majority of ferrari owners use them.
First time there, took 3 weeks when they quoted 1 week..

There aren't many Ferrari owners in the area that haven't been to Norwoods....

    Scott,

We're not in Uptown, but if you have time, come up the tollway, and stop by.

I am more than happy to put you and a tech together to discuss the finer points of the 360!

You have several options and we're excited to be one of them!

Drop me a line if there are any questions I may answer for you in the meantime.
