I do, and maybe it's a bad thing. I set goals for my business and run like a bat out'a hell until I meet or exceed them. Since I put 110% effort out, I thrive for the finish line to judge my perfomance. Being the CC&BWasher, I am never at a loss for things to do. I can move around from one program to another and bang them out.

i did for the last couple years. i really didn't mind doing 60-90 hours a week to get my projects happening. now the last couple months have been tying up loose ends, red tape, documentation, blah blah blah... it doesn't take up half my time any more and i just want it over with and to move on.

also now i have some time i find in my werkaholic lifestyle i've lost any semblance of a social life, but thats okay coz i'm stuck where i am until it's released and i don't get paid enough to have fun anyway!

bring on the next challenge... PLEASE!!!

I definitely do. Unlike yourself, I haven't "proven" myself yet, and that is daily motivation. Once I have met a few goals, I'm sure I'll still find things that motivate me to work hard, take risks, etc.

Another thing I love about my job right now is how quickly I am developing. I am about 1.5 yrs out of college, and I am constantly gaining more knowledge, responsibility, and skills. Its very rewarding to look back three months and remember what was "challenging" me then, and consider how easy that same thing is now.

Id say I do as well.. I think its a large part of the reason my company came 'out of nowhere' in an industry everyone says was 'flooded' and within a couple years we were in the top 5 companies. I dont think I or my team are brilliant..I just think we want it more.

having said that i also find I get bored and so now Im starting some new businesses.. friends think its very superficial ' dont you have enough money and toys?' but tis not about the material things..its about creating something from nothing and the satisfaction that comes with the challenge.

Same reason I learned the stock market.. making money was secondary to the challenge of 'beating' the system ( which I am proud to say I have done every year since I started to at least 20% returns.)

There is no way I could do my job, if I did not love what I do.
