Yes, the results are very interesting. But what do they tell us?

I wonder if Michael has regrets today. He didn't fit in with the F1 circus at the time for reasons already stated. There he was, Senna's teammate. Who knows?

And nobody outside of F1 fans in the US know who Scott Speed is.

IMO, Andrea was and still is better than both of them today. :)

What do you mean? Senna feared Andretti so much, he decided to leave McLaren and go to Williams after that one season. :p

It would be great to see Marco as the next American F1 driver. If he were to make the necessary commitment to F1 he could kill a bunch of birds with one stone! An American driver in F1 (which is important for the series), proof that an American driver can compete with the best of the best, and to finally bring the Andretti name back to F1 with the same dignity it had when Mario made headlines many decades ago.

Sentimentally it would be nice but F1 doesn't need an American driver; that's been pretty proven over the last many years. Marco would have to evolve significantly. IMO one of the things American drivers aren't used to is the relative fragility of an F1 car as well as the degree to which they need to evolve almost race to race. The IRL and Indycar series' are pretty stagnant from a car development perspective. I recall seeing an Indycar getting t-boned at the Senna curve in Montreal - they both drove off and finished the race as if nothing happened - very different cars for sure.

    That's exactly what I mean.

    Who's Andrea?
