Who will win the F1 2019 WCC?

In the past few years even though Seb got all the blames, Kimi was not at the top so Ferrari did not rely on two top drivers - Leclerc may help win the constructors championship.

 

It will all depend on eliminating self-inflicted wounds, but I believe Binotto will pull it all together

 

After looking at the video of Seb’s fastest testing lap, I think it’s all about the Scuderia this year. Merc will be on the back foot from day one.

 

In view of their domination (so far) of the present hybrid formula, I voted Mercedes, as a safe bet.
Even if they don't have the best car, they are the best team at the moment, IMO.

But it could be very close.

 

Haaa.... Toro Roso has a better chance of winning the WCC than Williams.

 

Merc. Even if they aren’t as quick as Ferrari this year, they have a better driver lineup. (aaaaaaand start the whining about merc and Hamilton )

 

Gotta be the same person who picked Stroll to win the WDC.

Also there is more stability at Mercedes.
Ferrari had 3 team principals in the last 5 years, for example.

 

Ferrari will never win a WCC, nor a WDC, as long as Mercedes is in the game.

 

If I had to bet my money, I´d say Mercedes.

But come on, now it´s time to cheer for our guys.

 

I didn’t vote for team red because I don’t want to jinx it.

 

Mercedes would be my bet.

Hope Ferrari makes it somewhat competitive.

Nice of you! I would like Ferrari to win. But we all know the Italian spirit, look what happened to the team when Marchionne died. Confused, desperate, emotional....That's not how WC's are won.
Don't get me wrong, I love them. I just don't see it happen, knowing the Toto-Lauda efficiency.

 

A yearly prognosis. Yet results are lacking. If Binotto can be consistent and allowed to lead positively, there is hope. Vettel does not inspire at all. He is predictably unable to secure victory without error and with all the experience he has. Again the team might be better but he is the weak link. One can hope he actually applies lessons from last year's sad ending. Also if the battle is about wheel to wheel racing he is a weak player. From the front in a dominant car we have a chance as a team for both titles.

 

As with last year, the team that does the best job in every area will win. I am hoping for the same this year, but with a different team on top. I don't wish disaster on any team...I want the fight to be hard and fair.

 

Good racing would be welcome overall!
