We'll see how LH performs under this immense amount of pressure (as per jackie Stewart's first WDC shot). I'm sure he's starting to get psyched out by losing ground to only a few point lead over FA.

Alonso is also under a tremendous amount of pressure as defending world champion. Kimi did not even expect to go this far this year so really, of the three, he has the least amount of pressure. He'll remain cool as a pickled herring....go KR!!

Duh... yeah. I must be suffering from brain fade - of course you are correct, when I said "He" I meant Kimi but I didnt make it clear.

Thanks for the correction! To clarify, if Kimi gets a win, then Alonso AND Hamilton both have to finish several places back for it to give him the WDC, and Hamilton would really need to be behind Alonso.

But when you think about it, the Macs are so fast, who could realistically get between both Alonso and Lewis to take up 2 positions? Maybe BMW or will the Red Bull team be running on fumes? :)

He would just run awkwardly wide in a corner or something else of that sort....

You really think Ferrari would concede the WDC because Massa is leading Kimi? They would have Kimi by Massa in a heartbeat

Its Kimi's own fault getting up to speed so quick, frankly I thought he would blow Massa straight into the weeds and was disappointed with his first half of the season. I always thought he would come back strong, and he has, however Ferrari deserves some criticisms for a couple of his retirements.

I am throughly convinced that Kimi will win the WDC. Alonso would rather take himself and Louie out, then let Hammy win the title.

I'm guessing there'll be a controversial penalty that keeps the championship in play even after the race is over.

This season will be decided in court. :(

    2007: Winners: None.

You forgot Monaco when LH setp on the exit pit lane and the marshalls did nothing. :( Canada when FA pit in on red flag and again the marshalls didn't punish him, a feww laps later FM and GF DQ for exit under pits red light :( Budapest FA stop LH on Q3 and he only goes back 5 positions (remember Monaco 2006) Nurburing LH recive a push.

So the WDC must be LH or FA

Actually Budapest's penalty for FA was absolutely unfair, unfounded and laughable. Punishment for what? Because he sat in the pits for too long? Team internal issues shouldn't be punished by the FIA. If anything you could argue, that it was unfair to push him 5 places back. You cannot compare this to Monaco 2006 where MS blocked the entire track for everybody.

I do agree that the FIA's decisions are inconsistent and often baseless. E.g. the penalty FA received in Monza for negatively affecting Massa's qualifying lap (while driving 100m ahead of him).

Yup. It shows that the FIA stewards either a) shoot from the hip or b) follow a plan. Either is unfair, but that's Mad Max and his reign of stupidity.

I don't believe that the championship is scripted, but I do believe that certain steward calls favor a particular outcome deliberately.

True champions need no gifts from the FIA.

The FIA a body of laws: badly written and randomly enforced.
