    Rifledriver has already told me, not **** no, but no ****ing way, no ****ing how, ain't gonna happen, you gotta be ****ting me. In other words, he is not willing to work on any Maserati. So who in Houston does work on Masers? I know it's not rational. I know it's insane, but, but...

    And you would be wise to take the huge hint from RD. Maser takes crazy to a whole new level. Their low cost of entry sucks you in like a high maintenance prom queen.

    What model / year are you talking about? My 2008 GT has been very reliable with very little problems. Biggest issue was a seized dip stick in dip stick tube that I fixed myself for <$200.00

    For the sake of complete and correct information in the public domain I like vintage Masers very much and would consider working on those but as for modern Maseratis, I came out of the only Ferrari dealer in the US up to that point that was not also a Maserati dealer. I have no idea how to open the hood nor do I look forward to learning how to do so. I have zero technical information, I have zero software and taking in a Maserati would require putting aside Ferrari work, something that makes no sense to me. If you were to decide to get a Ghibli, a real Ghibli or maybe a nice Sebring I would be happy to talk to you.

    I have some very good friends within the Maserati hierarchy and Carls comments are not far wrong.

    Yeah, I know, I know. It's just my old 2004 Spyder was the prettiest sports car I have ever owned. Oh well, I guess I'll buy a Vette and be done with it. :)

    I have a couple 355's as sports car - about as small as it gets. The 2008 Maserati is a GT car and my good weather DD. Yep, it's big, it's heavy and it's awesome :)

    There is a time in every sportscar lovers life that keeping your life headache free is maximum value. You know I love ferrais and vettes. All I can say is my pristine 550 mostly sits in the garage despite being totally reliable never yet letting me down. My vette I race and beat the living snot out of it and it justs asks for more. I have been trying to replace it with a new mustang or C7 vette but my old trusty C5Z06 is still super reliable and competitive in my race class being over a drecade old. Amazing what vettes can do. There isn't a much better car regardless of price. The low price due to mass production only makes the car better albeit common.

    If I get a Vette, will this mean I will have to hang out with the missing teeth crowd?

    Edit: I just found out my old F550 is still registered in my name in Montana. Does this mean I can go up there and claim my car? :)

    Here's the funny thing, women loved the Maser. I'd come out of a building, and there would be a group of women around the car. My F550? Only boys liked it. One woman asked if it was the new Mustang.

    The clock was the killer. They loved the clock. Seriously, this is the nicest interior I have ever seen. Far, far, better than any Ferrari.

    Yeah, when I drive my Maserati GT more woman than others notice it. When I drive the Ferrari, not a single woman cares - just as you say :)
