I'm interested to see who would make it down to Houston to run an open-track event on (probably) a Sunday. Lets say it's $200 and sometime in late January.

    Who's up for it?

Randy has the right idea. $275 for both days plus instuction is a great way to learn.

even better! they don't list crap on their calendar at all so it makes it hard to find days to run out there being a non-member.

A little sooner than January, but MSR-Houston is having a track day December 17 for non members. Incredibly steep at $325, but it's 4-5 sessions of 25 minutes, and (unless I'm mistaken) only the second opportunity to run the track since it's opening.

Very steep IMO. I've never paid over $300 for a full weekend, much less for one day - and 80 cars to boot.

Last weekend at MSR-Houston (SVT club coordinated, but open to all):
    2 days of track time
    65 car limit
    $295 for non-SVT members
    - Spotted Tom Murphy's 355 Challenge there Sun, but not on track.

Next weekend at MSR-Houston (MSR-Houston coordinated):
    1 day of track time
    80 car limit
$325 ($25 discount if you identify yourself as a member of a car club)
