Trying to get the VIN on a particular car as a family member has specific questions about it. I PM'd Marcel Massini a few days ago, but no response, as I'm sure he's a busy man. Any leads on a contact with this information would be fantastic. Feel free to PM me if you prefer.

    Many thanks,

    I'm confused.

You don't even have the car's VIN number, and you want someone to work out what its is?

To answer questions about a car whose identity is unknown?

    Am I getting this correctly?

If so, why is the aforementioned the case?

Bear in mind I might know the car.

I saw it, can't help with this one, I'm afraid.

I think you'll do yourself a favor if you simply post the details for all to see, then perhaps someone whop can help you will come forward.

We have both always liked the car. It recently had come up for sale. I told him this being he has sold some cars and is in the market for an F40. Even if the car is sold, he would like to ask the new owner a few questions about the car that he could then apply to his. He lives overseas, and just like here a VIN or serial number will help. He doesn't do the forum thing either, smart man in that respect, but he is a legit buyer and family member.

This forum has helped me with my first Ferrari purchase, just trying to do the same...

    Thanks,

Thanks for narrowing it down. What other information would you need to determine which one?

EDIT: Almost positive it's not 91502, as that is listed as a '92, and I think the car I'm interested in is a '91. It also seems to have some LM parts.

It could be 80473, as the pics of that car I found are older and it could have been modified afterwards. Not sure what year this one is though...

Post #5 above has more information and a link to pictures, incase you missed it.

    Thanks for your help.

The car is not 080473, I think

80473 has other blinkers in front and the time I saw it on Spa-Francorchamps circuit it had a black rear window. Can be changed afterwards ofcourse.
Was owned by a French guy from Paris region

    Greetz,
