Is this real? because it is very hard to believe. I just saw this on wreckedexotics.com and the caption for these two photos is,

"A rich guy dropped off this brand new F40 at a shop for an oil change. He never showed up to get the car back. This was over 10 years ago."

It kind of looks like one of those Fiero kit cars since the dimensions seem odd. The story "Wreckedexotics" gives seems a little far fetched.

Much to the dismay of several people here, the story included with those images is not entirely false:

Ferrari F40 sleeping somewhere in Saudi Arabia

Unfortunately the car in your photos is a replica, likely built on a Fiero chassis I would guess. Wrecked Exotics often has trouble getting their facts straight as users are free to submit almost anything and verifying those submissions doesn't seem to be a high priority of theirs. Case in point, I attempted to get a few of the McLaren F1 entries corrected to no avail. However, another F1 submission that was entirely accurate was removed because some others felt the picture had been photoshopped. Doh!

Also, those wheels have a 5 bolt pattern. Fake.

The pics are of a fake. The story is partly true.
