Well spotted - a friend had one back in the day. Quicker than my Cooper S, but very dodgy handling. I remember being very impressed Edit: And scared
Cheers mate, you are absolutely spot on! But some of the Facebook Rolex pages that I am on have some cracking deals from private sellers. Very tempting, but I will sort this other guitar out first and then save up and buy the ones I want when they come up for sale again.
I wish. The 3x guitars I have purchased in the last 12 months could have got me 3x Rolex watches I wanted lol. The next guitar I order can almost buy me two more Rolex watches. But it's all good mate, no one is promised tomorrow so I am enjoying myself while I can. Life is too short and all these people who don't like spending money need to wake up to themselves, you can't take it to the grave with you. In the last few weeks an ex school friend of mine had a heart attack and died at 41 year old. Another local legend named Brett Currie (who drew Moretti a fantastic picture nearly 15 years ago) passed away from a heart attack a few days ago. A friends Mother just got diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer a few days ago and was told she only has a few months to live. My Mum's heart is on it's last legs and she hasn't got much time left either. I have always purchased everything I have ever wanted from back when I was 10 years old, the trouble with that is as you get older the toys start to get more and more expensive, which is why I am buying $20K guitars now and $10K+ Rolex watches lol. When I retire, then I will move onto buying more Ferraris. I don't have any room for more cars here, so I am happy to leave the most expensive toys till last as I should have somewhere to park them by then.
I've had my Commando about 14yrs now. One of the first things I did when I got it was replace all the Phillips heads with Allen heads for that reason ! It leaked when I got it, I rebuilt the engine when I overhauled the whole bike and it was oil tight for about 5yrs, now it has started to leak again !
Yeah, I understand that. I tend to buy things, but don't sell them. Probably because the things I want seem to be hard to find, so when I do find them, I hang on to them.
