Yep ......... do you see an old man looking back at you each morning ? I do and have know eye deer who he is but he better get out of my bathroom
All I know is it’s a Koenig special and the photograph is on the web I’m a big fan of the cars and anything Koenig but I can’t seem to find any info on this particular car as yet, It may have changed colour or worse been destroyed in a tragic cigarette commercial stunt Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
They had a 308 GTB RHD from the UK that was a Koenig special at Gullwing in New York about 12 months ago....They wanted 40K USD for it....There were too many unknowns so Pierre and I walked away from it....To be honest I would have put it back to original had I decided to go ahead.....
Yep god knows what they butchered to get the Koenig panels to fit, Steve might have an idea, apparently he has a 328 Koenig in pieces he’s doing up, I’m looking forward to seeing that one day Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Funny you should that. I was looking at the same one. It was a white one. It was in very poor condition and stored in a damp area for like 15 years. It was very badly rusted as well. The 40k asking was a bit rich. I offered 15k for it. They said it they would let it go for 25k which it did sell for
Yes I do have one. I have posted pics of it before. It getting a twin turbo conversion. It's actually a rolling shell at the moment. And I going to paint it white. But no time at the moment to actually work on the car. For some reason I cant post pics on the mobile, I could post some pics. Also my best friend also has a 328 Koenig GTB
All Koenigs from the UK came from Emblem Sports Cars who were the official retailer for Koenig. All Original koenigs built by Koenig himself were rebadged with koenigs specials badges and they were forced to remove all Ferrari badging and replaced with KS to avoid lawsuits from Ferrari which they were threatend with (Most owners but the original ferrari badges back on afterwards) If they cars did not come from either emblem or Koenig then most kits were fitted by a 3rd party which were most of the poor fitment issues came about.
Interesting reading Steve thanks for that, hopefully we can see your friends 328 come out for a Bathurst run when the cooler weather arrives Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
