I did an MM in Tassie in my last 2000GTV, ok till the wet Western side of Tassie , R Series tyres and a stiff setup.

They just lack grunt, great brakes and good handling. and of course they all smell of fuel or fumes if not looked after.

What about a real BMW Alpina: B6 or B9 or something like that. I know BMW'S are the reason mechanics are rich but it would tick all the boxes - rare, manual, reasonable ground clearance, full size spare (and room for another) and great performance!
