Compressor out. I’ll pull it apart and replace all the internal seals. Now that I’m this far, wondering whether I should do the belts. FFS someone help me stop Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Why would you keep the A/Cond , a TRUE enthusiast (whatever that is) would remove it!...............................................
Did Magnum PI have a Mondial ?...............without an A/C compressor? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I dug up the invoice. The car has done less than 1000km since the belts were changed in April 2021 and that was basically me driving it up from Melbourne! New tensioner bearings too. So good for another 100,000km/15years I reckon. Meanwhile, the belts were previously changed in 2018 by a big noting mechanic, belts only, no tensioner bearings Image Unavailable, Please Login
Need an aircon oring kit? I can send you one if you like? And don't forget to replace the receiver drier while it's all apart. Your local Auto-electrical parts shop should be able to match one up if you take the old one down there. Doesn't have to be OEM. Oh, and don't forget to add at least 10ml of oil back into the system also. And don't forget to vac it down before you charge it........ Hang on vlaka! Just to confirm that you will refit the compressor/drier and take it down to be vacced and charged? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I let the a/c guys add the oil, but I leave the receiver drier disconnected and sealed until the last minute
