Seems a bit high given there’s nothing particularly difficult but I will say that getting the tips perfectly aligned does take some effort.

Hmm. Little concerning given I just had some other work done by them to fix my ride height, and they found that the bushings were shot so I had them do that work too. But the ride height fix quote was less than another place (both reputable by the way as far as I can tell). I guess I'll call around the two other local shops and try to get estimates too and see if this is just the market here or this guy is charging more than he should.

Has he done one before? Maybe he's going by book hours or is comparing it to another vehicle he's done but not exactly a 360/F430. If you feel he's a trusted mechanic, then just straight up ask him why it takes so long and that the estimate seems high.

I had a reputable shop install a sport exhaust while I was going through my PPI and they only charged 2-2.5 hours time or something like that.

Pretty cool! Is that more of a soft blanket wrap or it hard metal?

It is inconel, metal, hard wrap, you can't move it by hand. Stays put pretty sturdy.

it took me 2 days to fit my Sline, but thats because the bolts wouldnt decompress so i spend alot of time trying to figure that out... but the bumper did not need to be removed in order to fit the Sline exhaust.

I hope to do it in one day; already got the O2 sensors out, thermocouples and top 4 screws from both cats. Now I need to take out the 145 screws holding the plastic bottom panel ... Probably for the 10th time since I got this car.

EDIT: I only do headers though, rest stays stock, for now...
