Whom will "Pay the Rent"?

Because nothing has changed YET... why not let blackfellas have a say in howTHEY think things can be improved. 200 years of white wisdom hasn’t returned such great results.

 

Neither has 40,000 years of native wisdom.

 

With risk of repeating myself I refer you to the guiding principles of ATSIC which the voice mimics: a 15 year economic and criminal disaster run by and for indigenous people, not white man's wisdom, they just supplied the billions.

 

They've had their say for decades, all on the white fellas gravy train. The result? I'll leave that to you.

The white mans health system.
Free housing. Courtesy of the white man.
Over $40,000 per person without lifting a finger. Courtesy of the white man.
Oh, and what's the longevity of the blackfella now, compared with 200 years ago? Courtesy of the white man.
And, if you want to get educated and be a functional member of the white mans society should you chose, let's have a look at the university entrance requirements. Courtesy of the white man.

There is no reason to accept the white mans way of life if you find it so offensive, no white man compels an indigenous Australian to do so. However if you want to enjoy the fruits of the white mans labour, then you'd better realise some self actualisation and pull your weight.

Otherwise go back to the bush, there's plenty of space, since 40% of the continent is saved for you.

 

I think we've all had enough of this bleeding heart virtue signalling bullsh*t already. We live under one set of rules, one set of laws with equal and fair representation for all.

If there are groups of people who need help, then that's all fine and well - but they don't get special representation in parliament.

If so, where does it end. How about a voice for homosexuals, for rape victims, for disabled people, for people who were teased in childhood.... For those who want to have fair representation of alternative lifestyles or political persuasions...

Every day that goes on the YES crowd are falling further into the abyss and getting more desperate.

I like that a lot. Much more style and class than the over-blinged stuff produced these days.

 

A lot of grunt, but the inside is magnificent the wood, carpets, and leather on the outside is a pity they did not keep to the alloy doors, boot, and bonnet of the old GEN cars, instead just pressed metal.

Thinking about it, throwing money at them is not the answer. And, if they were honest, they would refuse it. When I was a kid in the early 60"s I grew up with a lot of aboriginal kids in country NSW. My sisters and I were baby sat by an aboriginal family. My father employed many aboriginal men on the farm and at the mines and paid them the same as his white workers (felt that they were better workers than a lot of his white men.) He encouraged them to learn - one went from my father to manage one of the largest horse studs in Australia. The aboriginal kids came to school most days - my mum was a teacher, they loved her. Most of the men had jobs. There was little crime other than when they drank, DV was still an issue. My father used to drive around and deliver their pay to their wives so everybody got to eat. Apart from the churches the government threw F-all money at them. History says the churches did some questionable things including 'stealing' children away. I have also met a lot who were thankful for being taken as they were able to lead full lives and not sink into generational poverty. It seems to me that the more money we have thrown at them the worse it has got over the last 60 years. They have developed a sense of entitlement, revelled in the poor bugger me and expect things handed to them on a platter. There are many aboringinals in Central Australia who abore that behaviour but are not heard because of the noise that comes from Redfern and the like.

I used to enjoy dropping in to the Royal Hawaiian for a Gin & Tonic or a Pimms & Lemonade
Then as the night progressed we’d head down to Moose McGillycuddy’s for lashings of Mooses Milk
Thoroughly enjoyed those trips to Hawaii
