Let's hope they start with drones and work their way up No I don't really, I hope they try to fly them and meet the ground on rough terms
The truth is that even in the unlikely event they manage to fly them, they've got no chance of maintaining them, washing them, or doing anything dangerous with them. Doesn't excuse the US for leaving all that materiel behind, though.
I must say I find it hard to believe the US would leave loads of usable military hardware & ops equipment as you say behind, usable being the operative word, I would have thought they'd detonate the big stuff if they didn't take it, I'm sure they new they we leaving for long enough to take it out or destroy it.
I don't think what is being reported in gear they've left, its gear that was given to the Afghan Government that sadly bolted & left the country. Subtle difference I know but not strictly equipment in control of the US Government.
