    Here's a few I'd happily enjoy:

    Facel Vega HK 500
    Matra 670C
    Bugatti type 35
    Gordini R8
    Renault R5 Turbo
    Citroen SM
    Peugeot 604
    Delahaye type 135
    Alpine A110
    Ligier JS11
    Bellot L2AS
    Delage D6
    Talbot-Largo T150
And especially, a Monica 560, with the V8 engine and manual transmission.

The Alpine, yes. Bugattis are Italian, really. Race cars don't count. Same for pre-war. A Peugeot 604? Really?

No it wasn't, it was for AUKUS - from the FinRev:
Ahead of the meeting, Australia announced it had made the first of six $US500 million ($797 million) payments to boost the capacity of the troubled US submarine industry.

You know the chance of anything being delivered is remote? Construction rate is less than 1.5 per year (less than the home demand).

Not that I am a big fan of Trumpy, but the way his administration is putting the broom through the federal and state waste of tax payers money is just terrific.
Hopefully he will lead by example to other western leaders both here and the UK. God knows we could do with a massive broom through all levels of PUBIC servants.
EG the public pool redevelopment in Sydney near the bridge, budget started at 64 mill now the blowout is double.
So they now propose putting the local rates up anywhere from 70% to over 100% to pay for the cockup.
Look at our own cost blow out in the cross river rail link here is BrisVegas, appalling.
The Japanese are nearly finished building the 500KPH magna train line that will run from Tokyo to Sapporo in 4 hrs.
They dug a tunnel through 75k's of mountains !! We can't even get across the river without a F#*k up.
Why are these people in these councils and governments not held accountable for their actions??
Where else can you legally rob people, and walk away.
Put some of them in jail and we might see a change.
And WE are going to ready for the Olympic's????,HA. Any hope of that will disappear like a fart in a fan factory the way things are.
All the baby boomers guys I know in the building industry, have got one foot out the door, and all have had a gut full of rules escalating costs, of rates, land tax, capital gains tax, power costs,
idiotic workplace health and safety regulations. Example- 5K on a job for a "rope" expert to inspect the harness points on a roof, and just before him the "Glare "expert has to make sure the new roof is not too shiney??? FFS.
What numb nutted course to you take to become a rope expert?? First first start off with knitting I suppose and move on to being a deck hand so you have experience with Cleats and Davits???
The next gen needs to wake up before all the experience and knowledge is gone, never to be seen again.
Trumpy needs a bigger broom and it needs to be made in America, hopefully we can borrow it when he's done.
    There we go....
    annnnnnd rant over.

It would have gone very well, but wasn't given enough time to take effect. Labor made a lot of capital over the "sackings" - no-one was sacked, they were all offered redundancies. It takes more than one term to clean up a socialist disaster.

If Dutton doesn’t get in this time and we end up with a Labor / Green / fake independents coalition it’ll take a lifetime to clean up if it can be done at all.

What a load of rubbish! It was a disaster that saw him thrown out - he lost 50% of his seats.
We will always have a cycle of governments because we're entrenched in the Liberal mindset of 'surplus' (achieved by letting infrastructure run into the ground) followed by Labor spending all the money to fix the ignored infrastructure!

There's a reason the LIBS are a one term proposition in qld, they are ****ing crooks padding thei mates back pockets and the current short arse will be no different

Newman was the worst nepotist arse hole I ever saw, even made front page of the Courier Mail !!!!

So if a right wing rag knew then so did everyone else, ****ing disgrace

Here's my prediction for the Olympics, short arse will delay start on building until he's found all his mates who can do it and then they will jack the price up because of the "limited" time due to the delays and short arse will be out of the picture and you can all blame Labor.

My electricity bills were negligible last year due to state and federal concessions, a direct relief to this so called cost of living crisis which I consider the same a global warming crisis

And as much as I am all for nuclear a search of how we currently supply power ,AND , if we added Dutton's nuclear, shows nuclear would only be 5% of the grid for hideous increase in the cost for building and take a minimum of 15 years to build

China is building 12 new reactors and they are probably the only ones that can because they have NO WHS or unions to protect the workers, yeah , a great country to live and work

I was never in a union but there is a need for them. Just because they get infiltrated by criminals (remember the Jimmy Hoffa transport union in the US ?) doesn't mean they are all evil.

People are still getting killed in the construction industry but in Australia the unions hold people to account

I was in China a few years ago working on a construction project where NO workers had hard hats working under scaffolding and a young 18 young boy was grinding steel in shorts, no shoes, gloves or glasses and I asked him why and he said "did you see all those people outside waiting to take our place ?"

Yeah sure people like Trump can use a broom to sweep out the dross BUT he has never worked a day in his life, never served his country in the military and is the only president I've heard speak gutter language, what a low life

Sorry Murray, I love you man but Trump will prove to be a disaster like the GFC and just like the bankers who caused that will walk away playing Pontius Pilate AND give himself a pardon, what a crook and lowlife

Saying all of that I don't think tariffs are bad and I think the world should do it to drive manufacturing back to each country, we were one of the last to remove them, I would love to see your company grow due to tariffs with increased demand

Why are we paying $380B for ****ing subs ?

Here's the truth from a current submariner I live next door to, we have 8 subs, of which only two are active at any time and we don't have enough personnel for them to both be out at sea

    Looks like a good ROI

And good old Morrison, he was a gem who left my great great grandkids with a massive debt

So much for the fiscal responsibility I voted for

I have much more to rant about but answer me this batman, what have the LIBS ever done to benefit Australia ?

    Commonwealth Bank..........no
    Medicare ......., no
    Superannuation ......... no
Padded their rich mates wallets .....yep

I'm not poor and I'm not rich so I can throw rocks at either side

I've worked as a slurry digger in the mines, RAAF on F111s and eventually IT around the world and I have never had any handouts from government but I don't believe everyone can be that lucky
I still hate dole bludgers and any man that hits women, I treat everyone equally and allow their mouth for them to go up or down in my estimation

I will defend my country to the end as did my family in two world wars

And yet your lefty mates in Labor and the greens gave him hell for not spending MORE during Chinavirus.
Whinging about your grandkids debt yet if it wasn’t for Morrison they be in far more debt.

    Makes sense…

The one thing I believe is that neither side has all the answers

The right are fascists and the left incompetent

Neither side has a VISION for Australia in this crazy world and I'd like to think my kids and grandkids inherit a fairer world but that is just fantasy

I'll leave this world as I found it , unjust and money at the root of all that is bad

My grandmother gave mey great love of aircraft

She once said to me your health is the greatest thing you can have, I thought she was mad, I'm the mad one

Friends have been my greatest treasure ... if only I had some

What are you smoking? He inherited a broken ship and got pilloried when he tried to steer it away from the rocks! Surplus is how the economy is meant to run, not by ignoring infrastructure, but by efficiency and building the GDP. Labor doesn't build infrastructure, they build debt! They waste money on boondoggles, making sure that the unions have their snouts deep in the trough and the right people are paid off. We end up with crap we didn't need, taking 4 times as long and costing 5 times as much as it should have!

You know actually all the discussion about politics is really a waste of time - what actually needs to change is PEOPLE... the discussion needs to shift from 'rights' to 'responsibility'.
The majority vote just for what they think will benefit them personally the most, not what's best for the country.
As I've mentioned before, all RIGHTS are intangibles (freedom of speech, freedom of belief, freedom of movement, freedom to vote).
All the THINGS people go on about - children, houses, education, medical care are actually PRIVILEGES that everyone wants to get more of, but nobody wants to pay for...
This is just going to get worse with every generation raising the level of entitlement.
