Chinah has been a problem for a long time and I hate buying their stuff but you have to admire how they have dragged so many poor people up to a better standard of living So , what do we do, put the shutters up or just all become miners ? We're good at mining but bad at giving stuff away (LNG).

You have got to be kidding!!!! I worked with staff in Shanghai in 2014 whose grandparents still lived in dirt floored houses and slept on wood heated khangs (raised brick bed with the coals underneath). These were 20 somethings who'd moved from rural villages and got work in Shanghai; many went to nightschool after a full day's work in order to advance themselves. When I joined the company one of the team leaders I worked with had zero English, so he took himself off to nightschool. After about a month I started to get very basic emails in English from him; by the time I left 4 years later, we chatted in English as well as most Aus kids would. Those kids have gone on to start their own design companies and are doing well. Yes, they still have to have permits to stay in the city, and if they got arrested for anything they'd be sent back to the region, but I can guarantee you everyone of them considers themselves VERY lucky. I first went to China in 1985 (I wish I had the photos from that trip)... the difference between then and 2015 was unbelievable. And for the record, as late as 1993 I thought the idea of China becoming a powerhouse was ludicrous...
First question - did the Chinese manufacturer start selling the same products ordered by Dreamfarm to kmart and target - or did Kmart and Target take the products to another manufacturer for copying? Dreamfarm have NO patents in Australia. Not saying that either of the options are right, or fair.
