I guest the father is crying - sounds like the lad had the car out for a drive with a mate. here cannot be many RHD GT3RS out there and these are blinding quick cars .... now if it had had ceramics maybe the damage wouldn't have been so bad.

looks fairly damp....on cold MPSC's, could have been a hydroplane situation (where ceramic brakes wouldn't help much)

at any rate, a shame to see a sweet car like that all balled up, but damn lucky it didn't do an impression of a 458.

likely to be diesel spill and wet concrete - plus a little too much speed on entry !!

    Oh dear. :(

    Where'd you read that?

I found this with a Google search: thread link

That caused a huge debate on the forum about "road legal track tyres" and whether the driver showed enough care or had enough talent for those tyres on that car in those conditions... it all got very circular.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

    Thanks, British Ninja! :)

As I suspected, sport cups + wet roads. I won't drive sport cups on a wet track, let alone the street.

I'm just filling in with the title until The Ninja Mod gets back. There can only be one official Ninja at a time and we Ninjas respect our elders. ;)

Yea, I've seen some pretty hairy stuff happen in the drizzle to a car on track tyres - and that was just driving down the road at a perfectly sedate pace. He managed to recover his slide and I just backed waaaaay the heck off to give him plenty of room. He was all bravado about it afterwards, but I did notice he tip-toed around every corner after that so he was certainly treating the damp conditions with much more respect after the scare.

    All the best,
    Andrew.
