Flying in large aircraft is most excellent. Flying in small aircraft isn't. I ain't afraid of it, just extremely wary.
Those are called air pockets... And when you're a kid, it feels like sudden death... ...but it's still pretty cool... I love to fly... Had to pass a couple of years ago, on an offer Vernon made me, to go up with him in his bird... Would've been cool as fück to be up there in a little craft... My favorite part of being in a big, commercial plane is takeoff...
Absolutely no fear here - used to own a hot air balloon and a couple different single-engined fixed and retractable gear aircraft. Anymore flying is a quick way to get from point a to point b and feel as if you've just been put onto a cattle truck. It's kinda hard to drive to Europe. Carol
When I was 12 I flew to New York all by myself. Holy S*it was I scared. Then when we landed I was supposed to meet somone right outside of the terminal, and the plane before didnt leave so they changed it... It was awful. But I enjoy flying.
