Check out the VIN!!! This is why the registry is so difficult sometimes....But why the registry is here---to sniff out something not quite right!! I called the PA dealer and he said he was aware of the mistake and it is on the CA car...not his..

The AutoWorks one has a pic of the Ferrari sticker with the VIN on it, while the SportsCarCompany one doesn't... *shrug*... I'd hate to be, say, the maintainer of a 355 registry when things like this come up! :p

Speaking of which, this one showed up on eBay: http://tinyurl.com/2hqean but the 355 Registry has it listed as a '95... Hmmm... Never mind, the registry is correct: The 10th position letter is an 'S', meaning 1995.

I could see why that is confusing---here in the states usually anything made after Sept of that year is the next years model. of course the italians don't do things this way..

I emailed Jim of SCC to clarify, he's typically good, so expect an honest reply.

I had no problems with him on a 456 recently....not that makes things perfect, but a nice experience for that transaction.

Yes, I believe he just mistyped the VIN---I have spoke with Jim in the past and he seemed like a good guy..

If you contact Jim Lyons he would read you the VIN over the phone of the one he has.

    He's very straight.
