    First VIR, now Indy and then the French Quarter. I plan on doing Indy from 6-16 to 6-24.

    I have found several B&Bs with multiple rooms (thought I would look since hotels are getting scarce as well as expensive), and also The Columbia Club on Monument Circle althought I need a few nights to cancel!

    If you are on the fence, get moving! If you are going, there are lots of events, including driving your car on the F1 course!, a Track day, and lots of rallies, not to mention the race itself. I may drive up, but perhaps we can share a transporter? Who's in?

    I will be back at VIR that weekend driving with the Mazda club. The trip sounds great.

    Already planning to go to the French Quarter. Registration should open soon, if you see any information come out let me know and I will do the same.

    Me, ship my car? No, I am driving it! How many miles is that trip? I just wish it had cruise control. My wife wishes it had heated seats.

    Ricambi America is going to begin selling an aftermarket Cruise Control System (CCS) for the 360. It's portable, and might even work on the Maserati. Simply place it on the accelerator pedal, and it does the rest!

    Leaving here on Wednesday evening for Indy, most likely in the über saloon. Will have a couple of guys with us, including a nicely modded black 840ci.

    Check out this site for Hotels, etc. I found several B&B with rooms, and I am trying to get into the Colimbia Club, only 100 per night, on Monument Circle, and rich in tradition, but-My Club Core of American is not a recipical member! plus I need three days to cancell, so fat chance...

    I say let's go, caravan up and do the events. If you have the old forms, get them in now, you may be able to still get the early bird special. If you need them, I have copies.

    Who already has accomadatoins? Do you want to rent a house? B&B? Which Hotel?

    Advice is welcomed.

    We sold our RV not long ago.....and even so with gas prices like they are woowheee it would be cheaper to fly first class!!!

    Better make those reservation bookings now cause if its a Big event (which Formula 1 racing is pretty Huge) hotel rooms will book FAST !! Expect rates to go even higher in the next week and so on as time approaches. No go on any discounts from my area with Cendant since most of the Hotels with my brands that I called are already booked up 2-3 months ago and have a waiting list a mile long. I tried sorry that I had no luck. I will be getting back from my 2 weeks off in Southern California around that weekend.

    I've been going to the USGP for the past 4 years. A buddy and I stay at the Courtyard by Mariott in Bloomington, IN. It's a nice location withing walking distance of the University of Indiana, and the drive to Indianapolis only takes a little over an hour. The rates are very reasonable, but they book up quickly. We made our reservation right after last year's Grand Prix.

    Ill be in a green Tahoe pulling a 26 ft car trailer( russo coursa red ofcourse) with my black 308 on it. They say there is secure parking atthe track for all out trailers and tow vehicles. I will likely leave my tahoe/trailer there and drive the 308 for the week back and forth to the hotel.

    How much are tickets for the weekend at the F1 Event ?? I will be in Southern California June 6-16th and if I don't have to be back at work early then I might fly to Indianapolis for the Race.

    Going in the red 360 Spider, not sure the dates though (I forgot). Staying at the Marriot, drivng both ways. Leaving the Monday after the race and going up the Wednesday or Thursday before...
