I'm sure most of us in North America has seen the Quaker State Oil add with the F430 all pent up in an old barn. I was wondering if it was completely computer generated or if they had to borrow one from one of us? It's actually a cool add! Just wondering the particulars to the person they borrowed it from.

Quaker State is now owned by Shell, Shell is a major Ferrari sponsor... They probably just borrowed a car from Ferrari NA.

I saw that ad again just this AM. It's difficult to tell which parts are real vs. computer generated. The "spin turn" in the garage didn't look very natural to me and the Ferrari breaking out of the barn didn't seem reasonable either. The road scenes could be live action though.

    Gotta love computer animation...

I did'nt know Shell owned Quaker State! does that mean we can run Quaker State oil in our cars without ferrari getting upset?(just kidding!) My thoughts are there are both real and comp shots in this add but it's still pretty cool!
