    Love the "Porthole" to access the engine. Yeah, generally been happy with F of LI. They even treat the mondi good. Tell Luciano Sam with the Mondial says hi.

    I can't beleive how easy it is to get to the belts on the 360! Wish that thought of that design one model year earlier.

    Wasn't the access panel a design that originated with the 288 GTO and the F40? Too bad they forgot that with the 348, Testarossa and 355.

    dats exactly why i want to step up to 360.
    it is much cheaper to maintain and work on it.
    355 is like a bomb, never know when and what is going to fail.

    F of LI just called me today. THey will start my 30k service tomorrow.
    JC....ur car is going to be done with the 30k today or tomorrow. Luciano said that everything was chill with ur car. No other problems besides the little shiiits that u posted before...which is great :)

    You could change the belts in the garage, but to actually set-up the variator degree you would still need the SD2. Just by changing the belt you could loose power.

    to whoever that cares...

    F of LI called me to update me on my 30k service.

    they found nothing wrong with my car EXCEPT a leaking water pump.
    cost to replace with labor: $1220

    they finished the 30k and now are starting the timing variator engine recall (done for free under warranty).

    :)

    car will be ready today/tomorrow but getting it delivered to my pad on friday.

    That's all for a 360?? I thought it was more than that for a Mondial.
    What does the 30k include?
    If it includes belts and it is that price I will bring it in tomorrow.

    Sam i think on your car the engine has to come out to change the belt but not on the 360. the labor is what kills you.

    Nope. Engine stays in for a belt change on a Mondial.

    just a quick update:

    car is still at foli waiting for some "surprise" parts to come in.
    but the car is finished with its 30K.
    the car was picked up free of charge, promptly. then the 30K service was
    finished 10 days later. during this time i was updated by luciano on what was being done to the car, along with emails/pics.
    i just got the bill, and to my surprise, it was lower than what i had remembered. $3350! for a 30K service/all open recalls/some misc stuff/and some more misc stuff! i must say, i am very very happy with the whole foli service experience and would without a doubt be back as a cutomer. thank
    you luciano/luigi/tom and the whole foli crew for everything.
