  2. Yes I will watch the Superbowl, but only for commercials.

  3. I have better things to do with my time.

Well, I guess its not this week is it?

Play-offs or something this week and the Stuper Bowl in a week or two?

I think the Stuper Bowl is the biggest waste of air-time generated every year. I used to watch a bit for the commercials, but that's not even worth it anymore. The games are usually lop-sided, and pro football is too mercenary anyway......

I enjoy the college games of all sorts, football, b-ball, baseball, soccer, etc., but pro sports have totally turned me off.

I swear, I'd rather be hit with a hammer than be made to watch the Super Bowl.

never watched it. i didnt play "regular" sports, so wasting my time sitting in front of the tv is not appealing to me. you should make this a poll!

I haven't watched an NFL game in a couple years, don't really have a reason to start now. The only pro sport I am remotely interested in is hockey, and then I only watch the last couple rounds of the playoffs.

You paint a great picture. I'll bring the camera and if the opportunity presents itself, maybe I'll have something to post when I get back.

Most people watch it for the commercials anyway, so then I'm not missing a damn thing unless it's a half time show boobie.

I'm supposed to be on the Big Island that weekend, so I'll probably miss it.

I have tickets to the Pro Bowl, but I think I'm skipping it and selling my tickets off instead. I had 8 tickets, but I've sold all but 2.

If the Eagles go to the Super Bowl, the entire city of Philadelphia and its suooundings will shut down, everyone will be watching. Myself included.

The superbowl, that's the elliptical shaped ball, right? Not really any interest unless someone offers up BBQ & beer for me to watch it.

On a side note, college ball used to be great, and I'm sure it has it's moments of brilliance these days, but after going to a UT game this year and having timeouts sponsored by <insert sponsor here> the game ball delivered by a UPS guy, it was just another circus act.

Well I LOVE the NFL and the playoffs have been GREAT.
As far as the Superbowl, Its the single greatest game in the history of mankind.
So sorry I did not agree with you and all your little lackeys on football.
Also I won't be inviting most of you to my superbowl party.
I know you don't care. But its a great day, remember Feb.6 best day in 2005.
Hope all you haters watch and learn to LOVE.

It's interesting how so many people (not just on here) have "issues" with the Superbowl and are so anxious to voice them.

Hey, watch something else or go outside.

exactly what i was thinking. I dont think its the greatest display of athleticism, but i enjoy watching the teams duke it out in the trenches. i will enjoy it even more if the Philadelphia eagles are there(if they win we get a day off from school :D) I think the hockey playoffs and march madness are the best sporting events to watch, but no hockey this year and prob only half of a season next year and my favorite team, Villanova, just destroyed #2 Kansas so its looking great right now.

nonsense. there are sportsbars in europe. i have been know to frequent them, however i have not set foot in one since the yankees lost to the red sox in the ALCS.

also, whats the point in watching the superbowl? We all know that it will come down to a vinatieri game winning field goal with a few seconds left in the game.
