Why __________ didn't win the WDC **Spoilers**

This business of McLaren appealing the BMW decision is just ridiculous. Lewis and the McLaren team lost the title he/they were not beaten to it by anyone. Fernando even with the penalty to BMW would not have won the title so McLaren appealing is pointless.

First of all Lewis was his own worst enemy today trying to pass Alonso when he didn't even need to which was simply put a rookie mistake. He needed a fourth place finish (correct me if I'm wrong) which means he simply had to do what he's done all season long finish the race. The McLaren and Ferrari cars were a step ahead of everyone else meaning he didn't even need to pass the Ferrari's or even his team mate to win the title the rest of the field was not seriously going to be in contention for the fourth place spot. On top of that his team let him down with his reliability issue with the gearbox, when come to think of it might have just been another side effect of his off-roading expedition after making the mistake of thinking he had to get around Alonso at all cost.

The season should be done and over and more courtroom appointments are just dragging it out longer than it should be.
