    Is it beautiful?
Does it really make you go wow?
Looks to try hard and I'd feel like a Wally driving it.

    Wouldn't mind a go though.

Well said. Everyone is welcome I would hope.

I own an Aventador, it is my third Lamborghini. I have driven a Countach The Aventador is an improved model as most if not all new models and all manufacturers.

Lambos in the past were behind Ferrari's in my view they are about equal today give or take.

The big surprise is the new Vettes are better driving cars than the 458 and the Z/28 is beyond belief. I never liked American cars but that has changed.

I am still love the Audi R8 and the BMW M3. Oh so many great cars and so little time :)

    Best

I would disagree there. The 6.0 Diablo was (IMHO) far ahead of its 550/575 counterpart. And I say that loving the 550/575.

I agree there. I had the Motor Trend issue where they compared them. The 550 had great high speed stability, but the Diablo had better brakes along with quicker lap times.

It's silly to pretend not to know what the OP is talking about.

I think the answer is that nothing succeeds like success. Lamborghini has a good thing going.

I'm just happy to see that they've got the output shaft out from under the crank.

And the Countach was miles more exciting than the BB and Testarossa.

And furthermore, the Countach was made for close to two decades. And so we've had enough Countach. I mean occasionally there are cars so spectacular that four or eight years just won't do. And therefore the normal cycle for them is a crime. However that was not the case with the Countach. In fact, I've had so much Countach that they don't do anything for me anymore despite being extremely exciting. Sort of like Cindy Crawford. And so then Lambo should have put the Countach design to bed until such time as everyone was ready for more Countach. But no they stretched it out for even longer by going with conservative Countach and then Ikea Countach. And the worst part is, they had a design that rivaled the Countach in outrageousness and beauty. I mean the Canto with the air intakes that gave Rodin a run for his money. However they shelved it and went with trapezoidal Countach. Well Audi is to blame for that but still someone from Lambo ought to have smacked some sense into Audi management and gone with the Canto. I mean the Canto would still be selling now and Lambo counting the money for not having to design a new car. Nor going with extremely expensive technology in order to stay relevant.

Lamborghini evolves its designs and yet always keeps its identity. The fact that you can look at different designs from different eras and think they are all the same as a Countach is a wonderful thing. Lamborghini DNA is in every model, and I hope the design success they have always had continues well into the future, other manufactures should be so lucky.

That is for econoboxland. Econobox persons absolutely cannot afford to buy a crap new car because they likely will be done. And so then econobox makers have to do everything in their power to make customers think that the new one is just as good as the ones before it. But supercar buyers could care less if the new one is just as dependable as the old one. No they only care for the boldest and brashest in every sort of way. Which is why McLaren quickly replaced the 12C. As well as the Jerries changed their tune and let the Italians style the Aventador instead of a Belgium. And hence the waiting lists for it. Although they still made them stick to the Countach script or something. Which is a bad move because it competes with the OG Countach as well as cementing its reputation further. I mean many probably were like hey they are all evolved Countach's and so then why don't I buy the OG. And save a ton as well as be king. And hence the astronomical rise in Countach prices in the last ten years. But the Testa Rossa is not rising as much because Ferrari completely abandoned the V-12 mid engine market. However the Testa Rossa is also hot and cool. So then in supercar world, the new ones must absolutely spit in the face of the old ones, styling-wise. So that no one one will say I think I should keep my old one since it is the same thing more or less. Or why don't I buy an old one and save a ton.

Well it is a half supercar and hence it costs half the price. As well as none of the looks and twice the danger. But those sneaky 911 fans found a way around that. Started claiming they were purists and it is classic so cannot be changed. And eventually forced everyone to buy into it through the Geobbels effect. And so now nobody asks why it does not look like a supercar when they say it is a supercar. But really they can't afford new good looks with every iteration and it is classic is just a ruse.

Which is why the econobox makers and the sensible transportation people suck at making supercars. And fall flat on their faces whenever they attempt to make one. I mean they have nearly unlimited resources at their disposal and so it should not be a problem. But really it is a whole different philosophy. A whole different game with totally opposite rules to sensible transportation making.

I mean the richies they are superstitious. And so a nice quaint story such as Henry Ford decided to make automobiles is not going to cut it for how it all happened. No it has to be he had coffee thrown in his face by Luca M. And was mugged by gypsies outside the factory afterwards and from that point on he swore to get even with those arrogant Italians. No matter what. And so then he found a new market for CIA Taliban heroin. And used the proceeds as well as forced Taliban labor to bring his vengeance supercar to life and strike a severe blow against the Italians. That sort of thing. I mean dragons have to be slayed and monsters brought to heel in the beginning otherwise the richies are not going to bite no matter how good the car is.

Abigail, if you are currently under the care of a physician, you need to contact your doctor as soon as possible. I suspect that there is something going on that requires professional attention.
