Ralph, word on the street is that your Countach is for sale. PM me the details. I am not too into the white but as we all know a good countach is a good countach, and the colour is what you get.
Greetings. I am interested in upgrading into a 2WD Diablo. Either a 91/92/SV or SE. I purchased my car from the original owner in California. 11 Kilo. The original Kali title is still signed by the original owner. I will e-mail you. I have to keep up with my friend in Maui.
I can't really pick any of those or even all of the above. It was just love at first sight. I can't explain it, I didn't even like cars, but all Ferraris just took me hostage for life. I saw a Testarossa in person, had a 288 GTO poster on my wall, and watched Magnum P.I. all about the same time. I really do have a sickness about it like others. I told Jennie from day one I loved her very much, but she would always be #2. That's just plain sick! For all the individual things you listed I can pick another marquee that bests a Ferrari, I guess it just comes down to Ferraris have a soul and I love them for some unknown reasons.
Nothing compels me more than a Ferrari... i love looking at other exotics... Never drove one (aside from an NSX) but i love looking at Ferraris more... Driving a Ferrari is like nothing else... You can't compare it to anything... It's like trying to describe what chocolate tastes like, to someone who's never had chocolate... The sound, the look, the feelings they evoke are far more than even the latest "concept" at any auto show... i would die for a Diablo or a Zonda or a 962, but i LIVE for Ferrari... Everything - EVERYTHING - about the cars makes you stop. The little horse, the silvery chrome letter F on the back of the car with the errari following. So simple; elegant, even, yet so powerful... Nothing instills emotion like a Ferrari... Even people who don't know anything about cars still know Ferrari as the ultimate sports car... The design, the sound, everything is perfect individually, making for a masterpiece with every single example that's right off the human assembly line... Even the flaws, the quirks, speak volumes about these cars... The crappy radio, the stiff-until-warm 2nd gear, the temperamental electrics, everything just adds to the mystique of the marque... There's no definition for Ferrari, Ferrari IS the definition.
style closly followed by performance, like many here I just see a ferrari as much more than "just a car" I really only checked this thread out to see DES respond to it.
Two reasons: A. Didn't want a Suzuki (inside joke for the Atlanta crowd). B. The check didn't bounce.
Alan that is close. It is a 89 Anniv. The owner is a pilot out of Austin. He is the one that also has the open air cockpit white 50's Jag.
I agree with with WSPEER, i bought mine on the spur off the moment, totaly unprepared and for several months did not tell anybody. But very time I drove it the smile got bigger and bigger. I know it's a cliche but it's a passion.
