He had a sucky Monaco GP, so what. He started 16th and tried his best. Monaco isn't the easiest place to pass either, so what gives. He isn't a Michael Schumacher who can turn a one lap deficit into a 4th place finish (ha ha its a pun, Finnish :D). It just seems everyone jumped onto the Felipe hating bandwagon after the first GP and now have jumped back on Kimi's.

Not hating on Kimi........ I just think he's not giving 110% as is not a team player. I hope he proves me wrong.

Not hating him at all. I don't hate any driver, hate is way too strong a verb.

Disappointed is what I am with Kimi right now. And I don't quite get it why he doesn't try harder.

I don't give too much about the team player thing, speaking Italian and him leaving Barcelona early and his drinking and partying (in fact to me that makes him more exotic). But I do expect him to give his all in the car. Particularly in a race like today where the situation was kinda hopeless he should have at least tried some Banzai moves a la Sato. Heck, Hamilton did some amazing passing and Kimi has done so in the past (e.g. in Suzuka), but no he stayed glued behind them all after the first lap.

I have critized Massa often enough on here for not passing (as in Monza last year) or in Adelaide or Sepang, but today it was Kimi who fell way short in that regard.

How about some banzai moves like Scott Speed? Scott had a good race despite brake problems. Maybe Mr. Speed can give Mr. Not So Fast some driving pointers. LOL :)

It is clearly time to fire the rat bastard and put a real driver in his place.

A real driver like Ralf Schumacher!

hate is not the word, i think it is dissappointment. Kimi was going to take Ferrari to the top and Mass was going to support his #1 finishes. Now many are left scratching their heads wondering if Kimi is really the Ferrari savior. I think we have a Michael Schumacher hangover still.

Lets start a petition for Ferrari to bring him back.

IMO it's good that he just finished the race for his confidence. What can you really do in Monaco anyway that won't put the odds highly in favor of a crash? I think you'll see him podium next race. It's getting do or die for him though.

The kid's definitely going to have to do something to his personal strategy to get things moving. He may just not have the mental discipline to get himself back into the game.

The Massa bashers are just staying quiet at the moment. ;)

Most of us expected a lot more of Kimi.

But Kimi spent the last three years blaming the car. The first of those years, it was valid. It was starting to get thin, but he's still talking about the car at Ferrari.

Some of us are just trying to get him to stop leaning on his old crutch, and go back to driving like he did in '03. (If he still remembers how.)

I would love to see Kimi find the fire again. But it might take a kick in the ego to light him off. (The flaming that Massa got after Bahrain seems to have put a fire under him. Maybe we can do the same for Kimi. :p)

I think it's as simple as we're seeing the difference between a Schumi that gets involved in the engineering, and a Kimi that just drives. Kimi seems to be waiting for someone else to make it better, instead of looking to see what he can do to improve.

I think Kimi needs to take another look at his habits and relationship to the team --- it's just not getting the job done.

Don't hate, nor dislike Kimi. He is still one of the best, possibly the best. He has not blended into the Italian team. Despite other comments, this is quite critical at Ferrari.

But I have faith that ultimately he will get his act together. And he will then be a joint #1 at Ferrari with Massa. Luckily for Ferrari, Massa has more than pulled his weight so far.

I don't quite understand everyone's shock at Kimi's behavior so far. Everyone knew he wasn't the most team oriented guy when he came. Kimi drives for himself. Maybe his style is selfish and maybe he isn't as motivated as Schumi or even Massa, but it's his style. I personally will always support him. I think he's very talented and I think F1 needs at least one bad boy in the field. I for one am glad Ferrari has him. I know his luck and success will get better as the season progresses. He probably won't be the walk away we all though he would but so what? He's taking the place of the greatest driver to ever race, and those are some big shoes to fill.
